OpenPets is open-source software provided as-is. Review the source, downloads, and commands before running them, especially when connecting desktop software to AI assistant tools.
OpenPets is provided without warranties or guarantees. The project may change, break, or stop being maintained. You are responsible for how you install, configure, and use it.
Pets may include user-submitted, community-made, or fan-made assets. Unless explicitly stated, pets are unofficial and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any third-party rights holder. OpenPets does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property. Rights remain with their respective owners.
OpenPets may link to or work with GitHub, npm/Bun, Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other tools. Those services have their own terms, policies, and security models.
Do not use OpenPets to distribute malicious files, impersonate others, violate intellectual property rights, imply false endorsement, or send private user data through pet messages. Keep assistant messages short and safe.
For rights owner requests, removals, corrections, or sensitive issues, email admin@openpets.dev. For non-sensitive bugs, use GitHub issues. Do not include secrets, private data, tokens, or vulnerability details in public issues.
